Luigi Bosca – Cabernet

Size: 750 ML

Malbec is the king of Argentina. However, if you like rich, full wines with dark fruit flavors, then you might want to try the fruit-forward Cabernet Sauvignons from Argentina.

The Cabs from Argentina are very similar to the Malbecs. Best of all, they are typically not expensive at all!

The dry, hot climate of Argentina is really great for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes ripen very easily, so these Cabs are almost always filled with tons of blackberries, cherry, pepper and vanilla with a little bit of mint.

Like Malbec, the Cabs in Argentina range in quality, but, for the money, it is hard to choose wrong these days. Most of the wines you’ll find will be very affordable, but you can find world-class Cabs that are much more expensive.

The Cabs in Argentina are not quite as big as the Cabs of Napa Valley, but they are typically richer and fuller than the ones in Bordeaux.
